Contract pre-verification

Contracts are usually reviewed for what they say and rarely for whether the surrounding facts hold. The entity named in the agreement is not always the entity you negotiated with. The signatory is not always authorised. The corporate particulars in the preamble do not always match the register.

We check the agreement against reality: verifying the named parties exist as described, confirming registered particulars match the recitals, checking that signatory authority is documented, and flagging commercial terms that are internally inconsistent or reference schedules that were never attached.

This sits alongside legal review, not instead of it. A lawyer assesses the legal effect of the clauses; we establish whether the factual foundations under them are sound.
